Cracking the QR Code: Reading a Building with your iPhone

A new Tokyo building lets you read the thoughts of its inhabitants from its facade. Its innovative, cool, and a little frightening, all at the same time. Read - and see the photos and movies - about how Teradadesign Architects and Qosmo Inc. are infusing structure with social media and merging architecture with technology in ways Mies could never have imagined, here.

I hate to say this, but I think this could catch on. I'm personally not interested in watching others live their lives in real time, but I think their are other beneficial uses that could come from this. Could you imagine the coding of existing buildings so that you could have pre-programmed historical information at your fingertips as you pass by? What a detriment it would be for the tourism industry, but you wouldn't hear that all too common question of "I wonder what building that is?". Shhh...just dont tell the preservationists.

As the development of the technology and the wide use of QR Code barcodes,i think it is really possible to reading a building with your iPhone.
Now almost everyone have a smart phone, at the same time, QR Code also throughout our lives.Whether in restaurants, supermarkets, shops, bus schedule, TV commercials, we can see qr code, which has become a marketing tool. Every time we see qr barcode, we can't help to sweep it.
For me,i usually use my iPhone to read QR Code on the webpage to download some apps or open some urls,it.s very convenient.
