This is a synthetic collection consisting of correspondence by the author. The correspondence dates from 1830 to 1848, and includes letters to Lady Marguerite Blessington, Edward Howard, Edward Duncan Ingraham, and others. There are letters to Marryat from Thomas Moore from 1832.
