When it comes to skewering pop-culture you can't really beat Robot Chicken in terms of their laughs-per-minute average. Sure a lot of their skits fall a little flat, but when they hit on something, they hit it hard. This episode pokes a fun at both FFVII and working a crappy part-time job, which probably sums up what your life was like in high school.

I actually worked at White Castle when I was young to pay for my games. I still have my Chillin' and Grillin' purple shirt from the experience. Unfortunately, I never got past the "trainee" level of White Castle employee. My boss told me when I quit I would never get any farther in life than being a videogame reviewer, and thank Uematsu, he was right.

Love or hate it, Final Fantasy 7 is still stuck in the collective conscious of a ton of gamers. It has been almost ten years since it was released and we still laugh at references to it. For a lot of people it was their first RPG experience, and certainly one of the most hyped games in recent memory. You can keep your Phantasy Star, no one likes making their own maps. Final Fantasy 7 is still one of my favorite gaming memories.
