Abstract A search for the doubly charged Higgs boson in pppppp collisions at sqrts=7\sqrt{s}=7sqrts=7\TeV is presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of \lumitot collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The doubly charged Higgs is a member of SU(2)LSU(2)_LSU(2)L scalar triplet Phi\PhiPhi in extensions of the Standard Model which include the seesaw mechanism of type II. The search is inclusive and is performed in events with three or more isolated charged leptons of all flavors originating from the decays of pair produced triplet components Phi++Phi−−\Phi^{++}\Phi^{--}Phi++Phi−− and Phi++Phi−.\Phi^{++}\Phi^{-}.Phi++Phi. No signal is observed and new lower limits at the 95\% confidence level are set on the Phipmpm\Phi^{\pm\pm}Phipmpm mass, under specific assumption on the dblh\dblhdblh branching fraction. Upper bounds of \mmres\GeV in the mumu\mu\mumumu channel, of \emres\GeV in e$\mu$ channel, of \eeres\GeV in the eeeeee channel, of \mtres\GeV in the mutau\mu\taumutau channel, of \etres\GeV in the e$\tau$ channel, of \ttres\GeV in the tautau\tau\tautautau channel and between \bponeres\GeV and \bptwores\GeV in four chosen benchmark points are set for the type-II see-saw model.
