Okay, here we go, all up (and I'm supposed to be sick X,D). Hope you guys like the layout! Deliciously psycho, eh~? Just something I threw together before bed, but I like it. :D

So, oh internet surfer of darkness, welcome to higurashiawards, where you can make icons of your favorite anime/manga/game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, and compete against other fans for a placing, bragging rights, and a shiny banner! If you love making icons, and you love Higurashi, JOINJOINJOIN! Even if you don't know what Higurashi even is, JOINJOINJOIN anyway! Voters are always welcome, and I could always use a helping hand here, so the more the merrier -- and who knows, maybe one day you'll get encouraged to enter! If you plan to participate, please make sure to check out the userinfo and get a quick feel for the rules and guidelines.

We'll start once we have at least 13 Members, since 13 commented to my question post at oyashirosama, that's gonna be our lucky number today (wouldn't it have been cool if it were 666? tsk tsk.) XD Hopefully we'll have at least 13 members by next weekend, which is when the first theme is sceduled to be put up, but if I can get at least 13 members by tonight or Tuesday morning, we'll get started early.

Also, speaking of helping hands, more so point of this post: have any Theme Suggestions? Want to be a Banner Maker (please? I really need some. D: ...you get cookies!)? Would like to be an Affiliate? Then comment here and I'll get back to you A.S.A.P.

I'm also having trouble finding image galleries (I can't believe how mainstream Higurashi is getting, and it still doesn't really have any fansites ;_; ), so if you know of any good image sources I would be so greatful if you let me know! I will slowly be uploading images during themes to a photobucket gallery I created. For now this'll also be our "dump" post, so if you have anything else to say or suggest, say it here!
