Wow. Good work. This is a lovely resource.
Incidentally, are you the strapping young fellow in the pic? He's quite a looker, whoever he is.

It's hard to find good period clothes! It's my job to make it easier.

I'm going to start assembling a deli.cio.us list of steampunk links soon - thanks for the head-start.

Where's my coffee?

Your coffee? I stole it. It's my tribute to the Dutch.

Excellent set of links. This is going into my memories. And lovely coat, by the way.

Thanks!
The coat is amazingly comfortable, and Kit does incredible work with clothes. It's a pity he's so busy with school and films right now.

I have to say I was very impressed with how the shots came out myself. I've got the rest kicking around somewhere.

you are making me spend lots of money!
Jun. 23rd, 2007 08:58 pm (UTC)
Shhhh! Don't think of it as spending money, think of it as "supporting a market economy..." Which may be better or worse depending on your political views!

I thank you, good sir...
for the plethora of links.
It has been a couple of hours now, and I've barely scratched the surface.
Excellent work.
It also seems to have made you the idol-du-monde of the ladies, so that is fine as well.
If you are going to the Time Jaunt to Tuxedo NY via 1600 A.D., I hope I shall see you there to shake your hand and offer you a drink.

Here you are! I met you very briefly at Convergence in Portland. Do you have a shared location for the photographs you took, by any chance? It turns out, you managed to take the only shot of apostle and I as a couple in our Victorian garb for the entire weekend. Heh. Apparently we did too much camera-slinging ourselves ;)
