ASTRON Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy is het Nederlands instituut voor radioastronomie, een organisatie die zich bezighoudt met onderzoek en ontwikkeling op astronomisch gebied. ASTRON houdt zich vooral bezig met de ontwikkeling van instrumentatie en faciliteiten voor de radioastronomie en het bouwen van de infrastructuur daarvoor. Het is een vrij internationaal gerichte organisatie en zij heeft nauwe contacten met het bedrijfsleven. Het grootste gedeelte van de kantoren bevindt zich nabij Dwingeloo op de locatie van de Dwingeloo Radiotelescoop, gemeente Westerveld, in noordoost Nederland.
