- Alain Rayes MP (born December 11, 1971) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to represent the riding of Richmond—Arthabaska in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 Canadian federal election, and reelected in the 2019 and 2021 elections. From 2017 to 2019 and 2021 to 2022, Rayes served as Conservative leader Andrew Scheer as well as Erin O'Toole's Quebec lieutenant. Before federal politics, Rayes served for six years as the mayor of Victoriaville. (en)
- Alain Rayes, né le 11 décembre 1971 à Victoriaville (Québec), est un enseignant, directeur d'école et homme politique canadien. Maire de Victoriaville de 2009 à 2015, il est, depuis le 19 octobre 2015, député de la circonscription de Richmond—Arthabaska à la Chambre des communes du Canada. Élu comme conservateur, il occupe à deux reprises la fonction de lieutenant politique pour le Québec du Parti conservateur du Canada. Il est ministre du cabinet fantôme des Affaires intergouvernementales du Parti conservateur du Canada de 2017 à 2019, ministre du cabinet fantôme responsable du Patrimoine canadien, Langues officielles et Développement économique du Québec de 2020 à 2021, et ministre du cabinet fantôme responsable des Langues officielles de 2021 à 2022. En septembre 2022, il quitte le Parti conservateur pour siéger comme indépendant. (fr)
