Alan Dale Fiers Jr. (born 15 April 1939) is an American former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer, who served as President Ronald Reagan's chief of the CIA's Central American Task Force from October 1984 until his retirement in 1988. Fiers Jr. gained attention for his role in the Iran–Contra affair. Fiers Jr. would later plead guilty to 2 misdemeanor counts of withholding information from congress but served no prision time.
