He was accused of corruption and in February 2019, he was arrested by the Pakistan's National Accountability Bureau (NAB)). Aleem Khan owns Samaa TV and Vision Group. He was also the Senior Minister of Punjab and Minister of Food. He is a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since August 2018. Previously, he served as a Provincial Minister of Punjab for Local Government and Community Development and Provincial Minister of Punjab for Planning and Development from 27 August 2018 to 6 February 2019. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 2003 to 2007 and also served as Provincial Minister of Punjab for Information Technology for the same period. (en)
