Alexander „Alex“ Galchenyuk (* 12. After two years playing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Sarnia Sting, he was drafted third overall by the Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Galchenyuk is of Belarusian descent, but was born in the United States and has represented the United States internationally, and spent most of his youth in Russia.
