Amason Kingi Jeffah is the current Speaker of the Senate of Kenya. He is the immediate former governor of Kilifi County and belongs to the Pamoja African Alliance. Before his term as governor of Kilifi, Amason was elected to represent the Magarini Constituency in the National Assembn marc 2022 when covid hit the country he took a step in proctecting constincies against pandem to help set up isolation centre in kilifi countyly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. He formed his own party, Pamoja African Alliance. He stood down at the 2022 Kenyan general election.
