Ambalavasi, more properly Ampalavasi, (Malayalam: അമ്പലവാസി; IAST: Ampalavāsi; lit. 'temple-dwelling') is the generic name for a group of castes among Hindus in Kerala, India, who have traditionally rendered temple services.
