Aniforms or live animation, is the name of a process for creating simple real-time character animation for live audiences or visual media via motion capture. It was invented by , a puppeteer who worked with string marionettes and hand puppets, and his spouse Charlotte. The distinctive feature of an Aniforms character is that it brings animated characters to appear on a real or simulated television screen, often commonly used in filmmaking and television production.
