Cook Global Law Professor an der Michigan Law School. Zu ihren Forschungsschwerpunkten zählen Konstitutionalisierung und Geschichte des Völkerrechts, globales Tierrecht, Global Governance sowie der Status des Menschen im Völkerrecht. Seit 2019 ist Anne Peters Vorsitzende der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationales Recht.
