Apantesis (original) (raw)

Apantesis is a genus of tiger moths in the family Erebidae first described by Francis Walker in 1855. They are found in North and Central America. As a result of phylogenetic research published in 2016, the genera Grammia, Holarctia, and Notarctia have been merged with Apantesis, and their species are now members of the genus Apantesis.
