Les Archaeopterodactyloidea (archaeoptérodactyloïdes) constituent avec les Eupterodactyloidea l'un des deux infra-ordres de Pterodactyloidea. Ce sont des ptérosaures, un groupe éteint de « reptiles ailés ». Ils ont vécu du Kimméridgien (Jurassique supérieur) jusqu'à la fin du Crétacé inférieur (Albien), soit il y a environ entre 157,3 et 100,5 millions d'années. Leurs fossiles ont été découverts en Europe, en Asie et en Afrique.
