Archibald Cameron of Lochiel (1707 – 7 June 1753) was a Scottish physician and a prominent leader in the Jacobite rising of 1745. The personal physician of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, On 7 June 1753, at Tyburn, he was the last Jacobite to be executed for high treason. In popular memory, he is sometimes referred to as Doctor Archie. Archibald Cameron is generally seen as a benevolent figure, and his execution in 1753 was controversial. His elder brother, Donald Cameron of Lochiel the "Gentle Lochiel", led Clan Cameron during the rising.
