BBC Music Introducing is BBC Radio's platform supporting unsigned, undiscovered, and under-the-radar UK music talent. It gives artists the opportunity to be played on Local BBC Radio and nationally on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, 6 Music and the Asian Network, as well as playing Introducing stages at festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. Since launching in June 2007, the Introducing platform has helped launch the careers of Izzy Bizu, George Ezra, Jack Garratt, Florence and the Machine, Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Catfish and the Bottlemen, James Bay and Little Simz. In October 2017, BBC Music Introducing celebrated its 10th anniversary with a live concert at Brixton Academy with George Ezra, Slaves, Rae Morris, Everything Everything, Nao and more performing live on BBC Radio 1.
