Barbra Joan Streisand is the thirteenth studio album by Barbra Streisand, released in August 1971 on Columbia Records. It was her second consecutive album produced by Richard Perry and features backing work by members of the female band Fanny. Like the two previous studio albums, the singer continued to opt for a more contemporary repertoire, this time choosing three songs by Carole King, two by John Lennon, two by Burt Bacharach and Hal David in medley form, and one each by Laura Nyro and the trio Michel LeGrand, Marilyn Bergman and Alan Bergman. Three singles were released from the album, two of which had a moderate performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and were a hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. The album was well received by audiences and critics and went gold in the United States, Belgium and Sweden. (en)

Barbra Joan Streisand é o décimo terceiro álbum de estúdio de Barbra Streisand, lançado em agosto de 1971 pela Columbia Records. Foi seu segundo consecutivo produzido por Richard Perry e conta com o apoio de membros da banda feminina Fanny. Da mesma forma que seus dois antecessores, a cantora continuou a optar por um repertório mais contemporâneo, desta vez escolhendo três canções de Carole King, duas de John Lennon, duas de Burt Bacharach e Hal David em forma medley, e uma de Laura Nyro e do trio Michel Legrand, Marilyn Bergman e Alan Bergman. Três singles foram lançados para promovê-lo, "Where You Lead", "Mother" e "Space Captain", dois dos quais tiveram um desempenho moderado na parada Billboard Hot 100 e foram um sucesso na parada Adult Contemporary.
