Die Basilika St. Johann in Saarbrücken ist eine katholische Kirche in der Nähe des St. Johanner Marktes. Der Kirchenbau entstand nach Plänen und unter Leitung des Architekten Friedrich Joachim Stengel im Stil des Barock. Die im Jahr 1975 von Papst Paul VI. zur Basilika minor erhobene Kirche steht an der Stelle der ersten mittelalterlichen Kapelle des ehemaligen Fischerdorfes St. Johann a.d. Saar, die der Überlieferung nach durch den Metzer Bischof Arnulf von Metz im 7. Jahrhundert dem hl. Johannes dem Täufer geweiht worden war. In der Denkmalliste des Saarlandes ist die Kirche als Einzeldenkmal aufgeführt. Die Kirche ist dem Bistum Trier zugeordnet. Patroziniumstag der Kirche ist das Hochfest der Geburt des hl. Johannes des Täufers (24. Juni).
