Sparta blieb eine Eroberung durch Antipater erspart, musste aber 50 vornehme Bürger als Geiseln stellen und wahrscheinlich nun auch den während der Herrschaft Agis’ III. abgelehnten Beitritt zum Korinthischen Bund vollziehen.
