Biblical infallibility is the belief that what the Bible says regarding matters of faith and Christian practice is wholly useful and true. It is the "belief that the Bible is completely trustworthy as a guide to salvation and the life of faith and will not fail to accomplish its purpose." (en) 聖書無謬説（せいしょむびゅうせつ、英語: Biblical infallibility）は、逐語無謬説（ちくごむびゅうせつ）、無誤無謬説、あるいは、逐語的無謬説などとも表現され、「聖書」は無謬である（誤りがない）ことを絶対的要件とする前提。キリスト教関連用語としては、神学者、聖書学者、キリスト信仰者が用いる用語。神学書の中では議論があり、専門用語であると理解されている。この用語は、キリスト者が「聖書」をどのように信仰の中で、あるいは神学、あるいは聖書学のなかで位置づけるかにも大きく関連する教理の基本にかかわる教説であり、また聖書の読み方の基本的な姿勢を規定している用語でもある。 (ja) Bibeltrohet, att vara bibeltrogen, är ett generellt begrepp för kristen fundamentalism, i ordets ursprungliga bemärkelse. Begreppet kan sättas i motsats till liberal bibelsyn. Det är den benämning som anhängarna själva oftast föredrar, men ordet kan uppfattas som ett ställningstagande mer än en beskrivning och är därför kontroversiellt. I svenskkyrkliga sammanhang är sammanställningen bibel- och bekännelsetrohet vanlig. Bibeltrohet kännetecknas av att man i större utsträckning och detalj ser bibelböckerna som Guds eget ord till oss människor. Detta innebär att man i högre grad även tar enskilda bibelpassager på allvar och inte bara hänvisar till det man uppfattar som bibelns helhetsbudskap. Som bibeltrogen vill man rätta sitt liv efter Guds ord och inte kompromissa med tron och anpassa sig till det övriga samhällets rådande värderingar och tankeströmningar.
