찬디푸라 수포성바이러스(Chandipura vesiculovirus, CHPV) 또는 찬디푸라바이러스는 인간에게 뇌염을 일으키는 바이러스로, 에 속한다. 1965년에 인도 마하라슈트라주의 찬디푸라라는 마을에서 분리된 두 환자의 혈액으로부터 처음 발견되었으며, 인도 중부지방에서 원인을 알 수 없는 뇌염환자가 유행하는 경우 이 바이러스가 원인인 경우가 많이 있었다. 일례로 2003년 6월에서 8월 사이에 안드라프라데시주와 마하라슈트라주에서 329명의 어린이가 뇌염에 걸렸고 그중 183명이 사망하는 일이 발생했는데, 그 원인으로 이 바이러스가 지목된다. 이외에도 2004년 구자라트주에서 보고된 어린이의 뇌염의 원인 역시 이 바이러스이다. 아직 인도 외에서 사람에게 해당 바이러스가 감염된 사례는 나타나지 않았으나, 서부 아프리카에서 서식하는 샌드플라이에서도 해당 바이러스가 발견되었다. 샌드플라이에게 물림으로써 바이러스가 전파되는 것으로 보인다.
