Ο Κίονας με τις χορεύτριες ήταν μαρμάρινος κίονας που αποτελούσε ανάθημα των Αθηναίων στο μαντείο των Δελφών. (el) The Dancers of Delphi, also known as the Acanthus Column, are three figures in high relief on top of an acanthus column found near the sanctuary of Pythian Apollo at Delphi. They are on display in the Delphi Archaeological Museum and were the inspiration for the first of Claude Debussy's Préludes. (en) Les Danseuses de Delphes, plus justement, des caryatides, éléments de la colonne aux acanthes, sont trois figures en ronde-bosse de la sculpture grecque classique, surmontant une colonne d'acanthes et qui devaient soutenir un trépied dont la cuve contenait un omphalos. Elles ont été trouvées près du sanctuaire d'Apollon pythien à Delphes et sont conservées au musée archéologique de Delphes. Ces figures ont inspiré à Claude Debussy le premier de ses Préludes. Κίονας με τις χορεύτριες), także Tancerki z Delf – marmurowa kolumna w formie łodygi akantu, zwieńczona trzema posągami tańczących kobiet, które najprawdopodobniej podtrzymywały brązowy trójnóg z omfalosem. Stała w północno-wschodnim narożniku sanktuarium delfickiego. Była darem wotywnym Ateńczyków z IV w. p.n.e. Jej pozostałości znajdują się w Muzeum Archeologicznym w Delfach. (pl) |
