Dena Mwana is a gospel singer and composer originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Nominated several times and awarded at the African Gospel Music & Media Awards in 2013 and 2019 in London, she has shared the stage with several renowned artists and has already performed more than two hundred performances in more than 16 countries in the world. Today, she is considered a reference in French-speaking gospel music. Mwana is signed to Motown Gospel Africa, an American gospel music recording label based in Africa under the Universal Music Group record company through its African subsidiary Universal Music Africa. Dena Mwana (de son vrai nom Denise Mwanakitata Muwayi) est une auteure-compositrice et interprète de musique gospel originaire de la République démocratique du Congo. Chrétienne, elle est aussi conductrice de louange et adoration, conférencière et motivatrice. Artiste du label Happy People depuis 2013, elle est auteure de trois albums studios: Hosanna en 2011, Monene en 2016 puis Souffle en 2020. Nommée à plusieurs reprises et récompensée aux African Gospel Music & Media Awards en 2013 et en 2019 à Londres, Dena a partagé la scène avec plusieurs artistes de renoms et a déjà réalisé plus de deux cent prestations dans plus de 16 pays dans le monde. Aujourd'hui, elle est considérée comme une référence dans la musique gospel francophone. Dena Mwana représente désormais aussi la Motown Gospel Africa, label de production de musique gospel d’origine américaine installé en Afrique sous la maison de disque Universal Music Group via sa filiale africaine Universal Music Africa. Depuis cette signature, elle a déjà sorti trois singles, Souffle lancé le 22 novembre 2019, Maintenant Seigneur depuis le 8 mai 2020 en collaboration avec le chantre français Dan Luiten et son dernier single sorti le 21 août 2020 Si la mer se déchaîne (remix) en featuring avec la chorale Sud-Africaine multi-primée Soweto Gospel Choir.
