Donald Duck is the Dutch flagship weekly Disney comics magazine, first published on October 25, 1952. The magazine was originally published by the staff of the women's magazine Margriet, and every Margriet subscriber received the first issue for free. The comic is mainly aimed at younger children, and includes a letters page from readers. In 2019, the magazine reached its 3,500th issue.

Daarnaast komen ook allerlei andere figuren uit de tekenfilm- en stripwereld van Walt Disney en Carl Barks geregeld in het blad voor. In 2020 lag de oplage in Nederland rond de 202.000 met 180.000 abonnees. Het weekblad wordt in de Benelux uitgegeven door DPG Media Magazines B.V.. Daarvoor werd het blad uitgegeven door De Geïllustreerde Pers, Sanoma Uitgevers, Oberon en VNU Uitgevers. De hoofdredactie was van 2016 tot 2021 in handen van (1959). Zij was al sinds 1982 verbonden aan het weekblad. Vanaf juli 2021 is Ferdi Felderhof de hoofdredacteur. (nl) |
