Ebeltoft Kommune war bis Dezember 2006 eine dänische Kommune auf der Halbinsel Djursland im Osten Jütlands im damaligen Århus Amt. Seit Januar 2007 ist sie zusammen mit den Kommunen Midtdjurs, Rosenholm und Rønde Teil der neugebildeten Syddjurs Kommune. Them (de) Until 1 January 2007, Ebeltoft municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Aarhus County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The region lies in a geographic region known as southern Djursland, and more specifically Mols. The municipality covered an area of 276 km2, and had a total population of 14.997 (2003). Its last mayor was Jørgen Brøgger. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Ebeltoft. Ebeltoft municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing Midtdjurs, Rosenholm, and Rønde municipalities to form the new Syddjurs municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 693 km2 and a total population of 40,196 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Midtjylland ("Mid-Jutland Region"). Fino al 1º gennaio 2007 è stato un comune situato nella contea di Århus, il comune aveva una popolazione di 14 997 abitanti (2005) e una superficie di 296 km². Il comune, situato in un'area geografica nota come meridionale e più precisamente Mols, era situato su due piccole penisole, una orientata verso ovest e l'altra verso sud. Su quest'ultima si trova l'abitato di Ebeltoft, a est della penisola si trova lo stretto di Hjelm che la separa dall'isola di Hjelm. Nel territorio comunale si trovava il lago di Stubbe (Stubbe Sø) e diverse colline, il terreno morenico e collinoso prende il nome di Mols Bjerge (Montagne di Mols) ed è una riserva naturale protetta. Dal 1º gennaio 2007, con l'entrata in vigore della riforma amministrativa, il comune è stato soppresso e accorpato ai comuni di , Rosenholm e Rønde per dare luogo al neo-costituito comune di Syddjurs compreso nella regione dello Jutland centrale (Midtjylland).
