Edgar Stuart, Duke of Cambridge (14 September 1667 – 8 June 1671) was the fourth son of James, Duke of York (later James II of England) and his first wife Anne Hyde. He was second in the line of succession to the English and Scottish thrones.

Murió cuando contaba con 3 años, el 8 de junio de 1671 estando en el palacio Richmond. Fue sepultado cuatro días después en la abadía de Westminster. Su epitafio, escrito en latín, dice: Depositum Illustrissimi Principis Edgari Ducis Cantabrigiæ &c. filii quarto geniti & Herædis Potentissimi Principis Jacobi Ducis Eboraci, qui in Aula Regia Richmondiæ, 8. die Junii in Domino obdormivit, ætatis suæ quarto, Anno Dom. MDCLXXI. A su muerte, sus títulos se extinguieron: el de conde de Cambridge y barón de Dauntsey de forma definitiva mientras que el de duque de Cambridge volvería a ser creado para Jorge de Hanóver (futuro Jorge II) en 1706. Sin embargo anteriormente un hermano menor de Edgardo, Carlos Estuardo, sería titulado duque de Cambridge sin poder ser creado como tal debido a su prematura muerte.
