Flickering Flame: The Solo Years Volume 1 je výběrové album britského zpěváka a baskytaristy Rogera Waterse, který je známý jako člen skupiny Pink Floyd. Album bylo vydáno v dubnu 2002. Flickering Flame je první a dosud také jediným kompilačním albem Roger Waterse. Obsahuje skladby ze všech jeho sólových desek, dále písně z koncertního alba In the Flesh a soundtracků, které Waters nahrál v 80. a 90. letech. Kromě toto se zde nachází také coververze skladby „Knockin' on Heaven's Door“ od Boba Dylana z filmu The Dybbuk of The Holy Apple Field (1998), demo nové písně „Flickering Flame“ a demo skladby „Lost Boys Calling“, jejíž hotová verze byla v roce 1998 použita ve filmu Legenda o "1900" a o rok později vyšla na soundtracku The Legend of 1900. Album vyšlo nejdříve v Austrálii, poté v Japonsku a v Evropě; v USA nebylo prodáváno. 31. prosince 2002 bylo odstraněno z katalogu vydavatelství, neboť bylo od počátku zamýšleno jako sběratelská rarita. Celosvětová reedice alba byla vydána 30. května 2011, prodávat se má ale pouze 12 měsíců. (cs)
Flickering Flame: The Solo Years Volume 1 is a compilation album of former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters' solo material, released in Europe and Australia in 2002 (see 2002 in music). It was not released in the US and UK until 30 May 2011, when this album along with the rest of the Waters' solo material was released as part of "The Roger Waters Collection" Boxset. The album will be sold separately from the compilation, for a 12-month term. The original versions of this album were released on CD with a note on the cover saying "will not play on a PC/Mac", due to a form of copy protection. Users of Apple computers reported they were unable to eject CDs with this kind of copy protection. (en)

Fue editado en América del Norte el 30 de mayo de 2011 junto a otros álbumes como solista en la caja recopilatoria The Album Collection.El álbum se vendió por separado de la compilación, por un plazo de 12 meses Fue lanzado en muchos países en una copia de disco óptico protegida, por lo tanto no cumple con el estándar de un CD, y no se les permitió utilizar el logotipo de CD. Estas ediciones llevaban la leyenda "no reproducir en PC/MAC". En otros países, el álbum fue lanzado en un verdadero CD.
