Franz Heinrich Kleinschmidt (* 25. Oktober 1812 in Blasheim; † 2. September 1864 in Otjimbingwe) war ein lutherischer Theologe und missionierte als erster bei den Nama im nachmaligen Deutsch-Südwestafrika. Mit der Übersetzung von Luthers Katechismus schuf er das erste Druckwerk des Khoekhoegowab. He founded the missionary station and town of Rehoboth and together with Carl Hugo Hahn set up the first Rhenish mission station to the Herero people in Gross Barmen.
