Gamut is a barangay of Tago municipality, in the central part of Surigao del Sur province in the Philippines. To the north of the barangay is Surigao del Sur's capital Tandag, to the northeast is Barangay , to the east is the barangay Camagong, to the south is barangay and to the west is barangay . There are ten puroks (barangay divisions) in Gamut: African daisy, Bombels, Dahlia, Genia, Golden Duranta, Rosas, Sampaguita, San Francisco, Santan and Sun Flower. According to the 2007 census by the National Statistics Office, Gamut has a population of 2,186.
