Ghayāthī (Arabic: غَـيَـاثِي), with 14,022 inhabitants (2005 census), is a town in the western region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Originally a bedouin settlement, today many inhabitants work in agriculture. Ghayathi is situated 250 km (160 mi) from the city of Abu Dhabi and 20 km (12 mi) from the coast. The principal road is E15, which connects the town with the E11 near Ruwais in the north, and Aradah in the Liwa Oasis in the south. Another road leads to Madinat Zayed.

| dbo:abstract | غياثي مدينة صغيرة في المنطقة الغربية من إمارة أبوظبي بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. حاليا يعيش فيها أكثر من 30,000 نسمة. وتقع غياثي على بعد 230 كم من مدينة أبوظبي. عرفت المنطقة كمكان تؤوها جماعات بدوية ترعى الإبل والغنم. في عام 1974 وبعد دراسة مسحية وقع الاختيار على غياثي لتكون مركز لتوطين البدو في مكان واحد. تضمن المشروع توفير المياه وذلك عن طريق حفر الآبار الارتوازية، وسحب الماء بالمضخات، وبناء المساكن الشعبية وتوفير خدمات صحية وتعليمية. تم أيضا إقامة المزارع فيها والي تم توزيعها على السكان. تعتبر غياثي منطقة تاريخية وموطنا للحمضيات والمستحثات.ويقطن في غياثي قبيلتان رئيسيتان هما المناصير والمزاريع مع بعض التواجد لبعض الفبائل الأخرى مثل آل مره... في عام 1425. استوطنت لقبائل عده مثل قبيلة ال كثير الهمدانية العظمى وقبيلة يام الهمدانية العظمى وقبيلة العوامر الهمدانية وقبيلة الشوامس ثم انزاحو منها وعادو إلى ارضهم . ويوجد في غياثي ميدان لسباق الهجن والذي من خلاله تم تشجيع الرياضات التراثيه، وتم في الفترة الأخيرة ادخال بعض المشاريع الانمائه التي ترتقي بمستوى الخدمات فيها فقد انشئ مركز الخدمات المتكامله (تم) والذي يعتبر الفرع لخدمات عديده منها غرفة تجارة وصناعة أبوظبي ووزارة الهجرة والجوازات والجنسيه وهيئة الصحة وكذلك وزارة الصناعة وفرع الترخيص والمرور وغيرها من الخدمات العامة لسكان المنطقة.وعنيت كذلك دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالتعليم في مدينة غياثي بأنشائها للمدارس الحكوميهة إلى المرحة الثانوية، وتم في الفترة الأخيرة إنشاء فرع لكليات التقنية العليا في منطقة الرويس والتي تبعد عن غياثي بحوالي35 كيلومتر.
