Η Γκόντσκολ Παλαιολόγου (Godscall Paleologue/Paleologus, γενν. 12 Ιανουαρίου 1694) ήταν το τελευταίο καταγεγραμμένο μέλος της οικογένειας των και μέσω αυτών πιθανώς ο τελευταίος χρονικά απόγονος των μελών της Δυναστείας των Παλαιολόγων, που κυβέρνησε τη Βυζαντινή Αυτοκρατορία από το 1259 μέχρι την πτώση της το 1453. Η μοναδική πληροφορία για τη ζωή της είναι η εγγραφή της βαπτίσεώς της. Το ασυνήθιστο βαπτιστικό της όνομα είναι αγγλική μετάφραση του ελληνικού ονόματος Θεοκλητιανή (ή Θεοκλήτη ή Θεοκλητώ), και οφείλεται ίσως στο ότι το βρέφος γεννήθηκε ασθενικό, με μεγάλη πιθανότητα να πεθάνει, για αυτό πιθανώς και βαπτίσθηκε μόλις 12 ημέρες μετά τη γέννησή του (πρβλ. τη φράση «το κάλεσε ο Θεός κοντά Του»...). Μπορεί όμως να οφείλεται σε πρόγονό της από την πλευρά της μητέρας του ή ακόμα απλώς ο ένας ή και οι δύο γονείς της να ανήκαν στους Πουριτανούς, οι οποίοι τον 17ο αιώνα συνήθιζαν να δίνουν ονόματα στα παιδιά τους που περιείχαν το συνθετικό god(s)- («θεο-»). (el) Godscall Paleologue or Paleologus (12 January 1694 – ?) was the last recorded living member of the Paleologus family, and through them possibly the last surviving member of the Palaiologos dynasty, rulers of the Byzantine Empire from 1259 to its fall in 1453. The posthumous daughter of privateer Theodore Paleologus, the only surviving source on Godscall is her baptismal records. Nothing is known of her life. The meaning of her name is unknown. It might be an English equivalent of the Greek name Theocletiane (Θεοκλητιανή), a reference to the child possibly being sickly, a surname derived from one of her mother's ancestors, or might derive from one or both of her parents being Puritans (though there is no evidence that they were), who in the 17th century commonly gave Godly names to their children.
