Goldar (known as Flydar in the pilot episode) is a fictional character from the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. A powerful yet overconfident warrior that serves under the command of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, he is one of the chief antagonists of the titular protagonists in the show's first three seasons. Goldar is based on the Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger villain Grifforzar, also spelled as Grifforzer or Griforza by some sources. Various merchandise for the character, as with other of the series' characters, has been released since the inception of the Power Rangers franchise.
