Griffith (Japanese: グリフィス, Hepburn: Gurifisu) is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the manga series Berserk by Kentaro Miura. Extraordinarily beautiful, charismatic, and skilled, Griffith is the leader of the mercenary group the Band of the Hawk. After meeting Guts, Griffith defeats him in battle and forces him to join the Band of the Hawk as the latter proclaims he now "owns" him. The dynamic and turbulent relationship between Guts and Griffith, forms the primary focus of the manga. During the Eclipse, to achieve his dream of obtaining a kingdom, he sacrifices the Band of the Hawk to become the new member of the God Hand and is rechristened as "the wings of darkness" Femto (Japanese: フェムト, Hepburn: Femuto). Critical response to Griffith has been highly positive. He has been praised for how he serves as a foil to Guts, and his development into a villain. (en)

Physiquement il est décrit par les personnages comme un bel homme (même Guts finira par lui dire qu'il a une belle gueule d'amour, avant que Griffith ne le batte et ne le fasse rejoindre la Brigade des Faucons, la troupe dont il est le chef) avec des cheveux longs et blanc et des yeux bleus similaire à ceux d'un oiseau (on le surnomme d'ailleurs le faucon). Il est svelte mais est cependant en bonne forme et il semble être de taille moyenne.
