Hefaiston je název mezinárodního setkání uměleckých kovářů. Název Hefaiston je odvozen od jména antického boha ohně a kovářství Héfaista. Setkání se koná pravidelně od roku 1982 na hradě Helfštýn u Lipníka nad Bečvou. Organizátorem je Muzeum Jana Amose Komenského v Přerově. Například na ročník 2008 zavítalo cca 500 přihlášených kovářů a z dvaceti zemí. The event is organized by the Comenius Museum in Přerov in collaboration with the administration of the castle since 1982. The 29th gathering (held in 2010) was attended by more than four hundred blacksmiths. The Hefaiston is considered one of the most important annual meetings of artist blacksmiths in the world. (en) |
