Henrietta Elizabeth Marshall (usually credited as H. E. Marshall; 9 August 1867 – 19 September 1941) was a British author, particularly well known for her works of popular national history for children. She is best known for her 1905 work "Our Island Story", which was published abroad as An Island Story: A Child's History Of England.

Selon les préfaces de ses livres, elle a beaucoup voyagé, après 1904, notamment à Melbourne, en Californie et en Chine, bien que dans sa nécrologie dans The Times, il soit affirmé qu'elle a passé la majeure partie de sa vie à Oxford et à Londres, où elle est décédée. H.E. Marshall est célèbre pour l'histoire pour enfants, Our Island Story: A History of England for Boys and Girls, publiée en 1905 en Angleterre et illustrée par .
