(es) Idafe Rock is a natural stone pillar located in Caldera de Taburiente National Park on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands. The Guanches (indigenous Berbers of the Canaries), worshipped the Idafe Rock, identifying it as an Axis Mundi. Should it collapse, great catastrophes would befall the world. To prevent this, they made offerings of animal offal while chanting Iguida iguan Idafe? (Do they say that Idafe will fall?), followed by the response Que guerte iguan taro (Give it what you have brought and it will not fall!). (en) De Roque Idafe (Rots van Idafe) is een bazaltrotspiek op de bodem van de vulkaankrater Caldera de Taburiente op het Canarische eiland La Palma. De top is 730 m hoog en is gevormd door erosie door de Rio de Taburiente. De Roque Idafe was van groot belang voor de of Guanchen, de originele inwoners van La Palma. Archeologische vondsten in de buurt van de rotspiek getuigen van dierenoffers en vruchtbaarheidsriten. De omgeving van de rotspiek is van uitzonderlijk natuurlijk belang, onder meer omwille van de aanwezigheid van kwetsbare plant- en diersoorten zoals de vetplant Aeonium nobile en de madeiradwergvleermuis (Pipistrellus maderensis).
