Insulacebus es un género extinto de mono del Nuevo Mundo encontrado en la isla de La Española en depósitos de finales del Cuaternario. Los fósiles de I. toussaintiana han sido recuperados en la planicie de Formón, en el Departamento Sur, en el suroeste de Haití. Su espécimen tipo es UF 114714, un cráneo parcial que comprende una dentadura casi completa y fragmentos asociados del maxilar superior y la mandíbula.

The body mass of the monkey was estimated between 4,159 and 5,443 grams (9.169 and 12.000 lb). The dentally primitive I. toussaintiana was likely derived from a fauna that was evolving on the mainland before the Miocene monkey bed of the Honda Group of central Colombia, and stems from a pre-Middle Miocene colonization from the South American mainland.
