Major General Josef Robert Sheetz (1895–1992) was an American military commander during World War II, who served as Assistant Chief of Staff of the War Department in 1941–42. Sheetz is particularly noted for his command of the in the Battle of Okinawa, and his involvement in the early years of the post-war American Occupation of Okinawa.
