Jutta Gerta Armgard von Ditfurth (born 29 September 1951) is a German sociologist, writer, and radical ecologist politician. Born into the noble house of Ditfurth, members of which had been noble ministeriales invested with hereditary administrative titles and offices in various regions of today's Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony and elsewhere in the Holy Roman Empire, a daughter of the German physician and science journalist Hoimar von Ditfurth and a sister of the historian Christian von Ditfurth, in 1978 she attempted to have her name legally changed to remove the nobiliary particle "von" and to become the plainer Jutta Ditfurth, but was refused the change by the authorities. She is nonetheless known throughout Germany by her adopted non-noble name, which she prefers.

Von 1984 bis Ende 1988 war sie gemeinsam sowohl mit Rainer Trampert und Lukas Beckmann (1984–1987) als auch mit Regina Michalik und Christian Schmidt (1987–1988) eine der drei Bundesvorsitzenden der Grünen. Infolge der Wahlniederlage der Partei bei der Bundestagswahl 1990 kam es zur „realpolitischen Wende“ bei den Grünen. Aus Protest dagegen verließ Ditfurth 1991 ebenso wie viele andere Angehörige des linken Flügels die Partei. Sie initiierte die Kleinstpartei Ökologische Linke, aus der 2000 die Wählervereinigung ÖkoLinX – Antirassistische Liste hervorging. Von 2001 bis 2008 war sie für die ÖkoLinX Mitglied der Stadtverordnetenversammlung in Frankfurt am Main; seit 2011 ist sie es erneut. Bei der Europawahl 2019 war Ditfurth Spitzenkandidatin der zum ersten Mal bei einer Europawahl in Deutschland antretenden Wahlliste der ÖkoLinX, konnte im Ergebnis jedoch kein Mandat im EU-Parlament erreichen. I boken, som publicerades efter sex års forskning, redovisas tidigare okända källor om Ulrike Meinhof.
