Kadyr Yusupov (Uzbek: Қодиржон Юсупов, Russian: Кадыржан Юсупов; born 18 December 1951) is currently held in prison in Uzbekistan on charges of treason. The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention and several prominent international NGOs called for his immediate release and rehabilitation.Yusupov is a retired career diplomat from Uzbekistan, who served as his country's Chargé d'affaires in Austria, Slovakia and Hungary from 2006 until 2009. He simultaneously held the post of the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, UN and other international organizations in Vienna.
