- The League of Supporters of Indonesian Independence (Indonesian: Ikatan Pendukung Kemerdekaan Indonesia, IPKI) was a political party in Indonesia established by former Army head General Abdul Haris Nasution as a vehicle for the Indonesian Army to enter the realm of politics. It was influential in persuading President Sukarno to introduce Guided Democracy in Indonesia and return to the 1945 Constitution. (en)
- Partai Ikatan Pendukung Kemerdekaan Indonesia atau lebih dikenal dengan nama IPKI adalah salah satu partai politik di Indonesia. Partai Ikatan Pendukung Kemerdekaan Indonesia (IPKI) merupakan kelanjutan IPKI yang dibentuk sejak 20 Mei 1954. Para tokoh pemrakarsa di antaranya adalah Kolonel AH Nasution, Kol Gatot Subroto, Kol Aziz Saleh, dan lainnya. Di awal Orde Baru, IPKI sebenarnya lebih dekat hubungan politiknya dengan Golkar. Namun, sewaktu terjadi fusi parpol tahun 1973, IPKI bergabung dengan PDI. Dalam kongres tahun 1994, kemudian IPKI menjadi ormas nonafiliasi. Menjelang pemilu 1997, IPKI melakukan konsolidasi dan memberikan aspirasinya ke Golkar. Partai ini di antaranya mempunyai tujuan mengamalkan dan menerapkan falsafah dan ideologi Pancasila dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara demi terwujudnya tujuan nasional. Program partai adalah mengembalikan kedaulatan di tangan rakyat. Di bidang politik, Partai IPKI meminta peran sospol ABRI tetap dipertahankan. Namun, jumlahnya yang dikurangi. Pemilihan presiden sebaiknya tetap lewat MPR. (in)
