Stamp issues are described in the following general format: Year of issue: Catalogue number 1, Catalogue number 2. The stamp catalogues are designated with letters placed before catalogue numbers: * M – Michel catalogue * S – Scott catalogue The numbers of the Catalogue of Marka Publishing and Trade Centre, the official publishing house of Russian Post, are given without letters. For example: The list includes the adhesive stamps, the stamps imprinted on postal stationeries (postal cards, stamped envelopes) are not mentioned in this list.
