Maurice Patronnier (Koléa, província de Tipaza, 14 de febrer de 1906 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, 20 d'abril de 2006), més conegut com Maurici de Gandillac, fou un filòsof i historiador de la filosofia francès. He wrote his thesis under Étienne Gilson on the Renaissance philosopher Nicholas of Cusa. In 1946 he was appointed professor in the history of medieval and Renaissance philosophy at the Sorbonne.He supervised the doctoral dissertations of numerous students, including Louis Althusser, Jean-François Lyotard, Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault, and Jacques Derrida. Gandillac was werkzaam als hoogleraar in de wijsbegeerte aan de Universiteit van Parijs (beter bekend onder de naam Sorbonne), waar hij onder meer les gaf aan later bekend geworden filosofen als Jacques Derrida en Gilles Deleuze. Hij schreef een omvangrijk filosofisch oeuvre, zowel wat betreft de middeleeuwen, de Italiaanse dichter/schrijver Dante alsmede de moderne tijd. Daarnaast vertaalde hij werken van gerenommeerde buitenlandse (vooral Duitse) filosofen in het Frans. Hij publiceerde zijn memoires onder de titel Le siècle traversé.
