Metamatic ist das Debütalbum des britischen Musikers John Foxx nach der Trennung von Ultravox. Es erschien im Januar 1980 bei Virgin Records. Kommerziell war es eher mäßig erfolgreich. Der Sound des lyrisch von James Graham Ballard beeinflussten Albums inspirierte zahlreiche Musiker. Metamatic gilt als eins der ersten elektronischen Alben eines britischen Künstlers und als Frühwerk des Minimal Electro.
