Nic než pravda (v anglickém originále Nothing But the Truth) je americký dramatický film režiséra z roku 2008. Lurie uvedl v komentáři na DVD, že ho k napsání scénáře inspiroval případ novinářky , která byla v roce 2005 uvězněna za pohrdání soudem, když odmítla vypovídat před porotou, která vyšetřovala únik označující za agentku CIA. To bylo ale jen výchozím bodem pro jinak smyšlený příběh.

Según los comentarios hechos por Lurie en The Truth Hurts, un bonus en el lanzamiento en DVD, su inspiración para el guion fue el caso de la periodista Judith Miller, quien en julio del 2005 fue encarcelada por desacato al tribunal al negarse a testificar ante federales por investigar una fuga de nombre de Valerie Palme como una agente encubierta de la CIA, pero esto no era más que un punto de partida para lo que es ante todo una historia de ficción. En una entrevista en abril de 2009, Lurie subrayó: «Debería decir que la película es acerca de ninguna de estas mujeres aunque sin duda sus historias como se informó en la prensa fue en la creación de sus personajes y la situación en que se encontraban». La película se estrenó en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto el 8 de septiembre de 2008. According to comments made by Lurie in The Truth Hurts, a bonus feature on the DVD release, his inspiration for the screenplay was the case of journalist Judith Miller, who in July 2005 was jailed for contempt of court for refusing to testify before a federal grand jury investigating a leak naming Valerie Plame as a covert CIA operative, but this was merely a starting point for what is primarily a fictional story. In an April 2009 interview, Lurie stressed: "I should say that the film is about neither of these women although certainly their stories as reported in the press went into the creation of their characters and the situation they find themselves in." The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2008. It was scheduled to open in New York City and Los Angeles on December 19, but because distributor Yari Film Group filed for Chapter 11 protection, it was never given a theatrical release.
