Nyarong (Tibetan: ཉག་རོང་།, Wylie: nyag rong; Chinese: 新龙; pinyin: Xīnlóng) is a Tibetan historical river valley region located in Eastern Kham. It is generally equated with modern Xinlong County, which is called Nyarong in Tibetan, though the traditional region also includes parts of Litang County and Baiyü County.

La société y était divisée en trois parties, supérieure, médiane et inférieure de la vallée, avant d'être unifié par le cheftaine (Tusi), Gönpo Namgyel (1799 — 1865). Il conquiert les tusi de Dergé et de Litang et de Chakla.
