La Segunda ofensiva de Alepo fue una operación militar llevada a cabo en el marco de la Guerra Civil Siria por el Ejército Árabe Sirio, con respaldo de Hezbolá y otras milicias aliadas, tras otra exitosa campaña que conectó Alepo con el centro de Siria. El nombre en clave dado por las fuerzas leales fue Operación Estrella de Canopus. Su objetivo consistió en rodear Alepo y cortar las líneas de abastecimiento rebeldes. (es)
La deuxième offensive d'Alep ou opération Canopus Star est une campagne militaire menée pendant la guerre civile syrienne par l'armée syrienne avec le soutien du Hezbollah et d'autres milices pro-gouvernementales. Elle a lieu du 7 décembre 2013 au 20 octobre 2014 et fait suite à la première offensive d'Alep qui avait permis de reconquérir un corridor entre Alep et le centre de la Syrie. Operation Canopus Star (Arabic: عملية نجم سهيل) was an operation launched by the Syrian Army, supported by Hezbollah and other allied militias, during the Syrian Civil War, following a successful offensive which re-established the military's supply route between Aleppo and central Syria. The aim of the operation was to encircle Aleppo and cut rebel supply lines into the city, thus besieging rebel-held areas. (en)
